1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Ramadan App! By downloading, installing, or using the Ramadan application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ramadan App ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read them carefully.

2. Description of Service

Ramadan App is an Islamic religious practice companion application designed to help you:

• Track daily prayer (Salah) times and completion
• Read and track Quran reading progress
• Count Tasbih (dhikr) with a digital counter
• Determine Qibla direction using your device's compass
• Track fasting (Sawm) during Ramadan and other days
• Calculate and track Zakat obligations
• Set daily routines and habit tracking for religious practices
• View Hijri calendar and important Islamic dates
• Record Sadaqah (charity) contributions

3. Eligibility

To use Ramadan App, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country)
• If you are under 18, have parental or guardian consent to use the App
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

4. Account Registration

Anonymous Use

You may use Ramadan App without creating an account. In this case, your data is stored locally on your device only.

Connected Accounts

If you choose to connect an account via Google or Apple Sign-In:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. User Responsibilities

When using Ramadan App, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when logging data
• Use the App only for its intended purpose
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
• Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Ramadan App, including but not limited to:

• Software code and algorithms
• User interface design
• Graphics, logos, and icons
• Text and documentation

Are owned by Ramadan App and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of the data and content you enter into Ramadan App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your User Content to provide the service
• Create anonymized, aggregated data for improving the App (this data cannot identify you)

We will never sell your personal religious practice data or use it for advertising purposes.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Subscription & Payments

Ramadan App offers premium features through subscription plans:

• Plans Available: Weekly, Monthly, and Annual subscription options
• Payment: Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Management: You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings
• Refunds: Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play Store

10. Advertising

Ramadan App displays advertisements in the free version:

• Free Users: The free version of the App includes advertisements served by Google AdMob
• Premium Users: Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience with no advertisements
• Ad Content: We strive to ensure ads displayed are appropriate and respectful

11. Termination

By You

You may stop using Ramadan App at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data through the App settings.

By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Ramadan App if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse or misuse the service

12. Disclaimers

RAMADAN APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OF PRAYER TIMES OR QIBLA DIRECTION
• COMPLETENESS OF RELIGIOUS CONTENT

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAMADAN APP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• Any damages resulting from reliance on prayer time calculations
• Any religious decisions made based on App information
• Inaccuracies in Qibla direction or prayer time calculations

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months, if any.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ramadan App and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting updated Terms in the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending a notification for significant changes

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ramadan App operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Ramadan App shall be resolved through:

1. Informal Resolution: First, contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally
2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, disputes may be submitted to mediation
3. Arbitration/Litigation: As a last resort, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration or court proceedings

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ramadan App regarding the use of the App.
