Standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) · Last updated: 25 August 2026
MatchUpp has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out the standards we uphold to keep minors off our platform and to prevent, detect, and act on any child-safety violations.
MatchUpp is a dating application intended strictly for adults aged 18 and older. Users provide their date of birth during onboarding, and accounts we believe belong to minors are removed. Minors are never permitted to use the service.
We strictly prohibit any content, communication, or behavior that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors, including but not limited to:
We combine an 18+ age requirement, profile and content moderation, user reporting, and both automated and manual review to detect and remove violating accounts and content. Accounts found in violation are permanently banned.
Every profile and chat in MatchUpp includes a Report and Block option, so any user can flag child-safety concerns directly inside the app. Reports are reviewed promptly, and content or accounts that violate these standards are removed.
When CSAM is confirmed, we remove the content, ban the account, preserve relevant data as required by law, and report to the appropriate authorities — including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and applicable regional and national bodies — in accordance with applicable law.

MatchUpp complies with applicable child-safety laws and with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy. We review and update these standards as our product and legal obligations evolve.
